Community Involvement
We’re About Helping People.
At Thorp Law, we’re passionate about caring for people in our community. Through our legal work, we’re committed to standing up for people who have suffered an injustice. Outside of the courtroom, we support North Carolina organizations that promote justice and improve the health of our community. Thorp Law is proud to be involved with Activate Good, the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina and North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
Thorp Law joined the Corporate Volunteer Council of Activate Good to help improve the Triangle community through people-powered projects for good. Activate Good believes that we all have a responsibility to work toward a better world — a mission that resonates deeply with our team. Based in Raleigh, Activate Good works to make volunteerism a part of everyday life. The organization connects volunteers with its 550+ community partners to make a positive impact in the community.
During the past three decades of practicing personal injury law, Isaac Thorp has fought for the rights of traumatic brain injury (TBI) victims. In addition to legal representation, Thorp Law supports brain injury victims and their families through its corporate sponsorship of the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina (BIANC). This non-profit organization strives to better the lives of individuals living with a brain injury and their families.
Attorney Isaac Thorp is an active members of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ), which has protected individual rights in North Carolina for more than 50 years. NCAJ is dedicated to protecting people, preventing injustice and promoting fairness. Active in the organization for more than 30 years, Isaac serves on the NCAJ Board of Governors and is the chair of the Auto Torts & Premises Liability Section (the largest section within the organization). He has also served as past chair of the Eminent Domain section. Notably, Isaac’s father, Bill Thorp, was one of the founding members of NCAJ.
Whether volunteering our time, donating financial resources or seeking justice for the underdog, we’re invested in making a positive impact in our community.
We Stand Behind Our Core Values.
The Thorp Law Promise
-
Our loyalty to victims expands beyond our determination for justice. We strive to restore their comfort and peace of mind through it all.
-
Our firm only handles cases that we believe in. If we see potential after assessing the evidence, we can immediately get a winning strategy in the works.
-
We do everything in our power to champion our clients' best interests, and we only ask that they provide that same level of allegiance in return.
